TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp.

CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: During AET's summer riding camps participants learn horsemanship and riding skills in the mornings and afternoons are filled with equine related activities, crafts and games.

SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: AET's programs are for everyone including those with disabilities and special needs. Participants learn to connect and bond with their equine partners and new friends.

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Fine Arts/Crafts, Horses/Equestrian, and more. Equine Care & Riding Camp June 17-21, 2024
Reading Rodeo & Riding Camp July 8-12, 2024 (afternoons Are Filled With Horse Powered Reading Activities To Help Emergent & Struggling Readers Continue To Connect With Books During The Summer)
Creative Art & Riding Camp July 30- Aug 1, 2024

CAMP LOCATION: We are located just 25 minutes outside of downtown Asheville, North Carolina on 24 beautiful acres.

CAMP FACILITIES: Asheville Equine Therapy's facilities boast a 6 stall barn with a full classroom for equine assisted learning and a 125' x 175' arena and onsite trails.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camps are facilitated by a PATH International CTRI (Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor) and ESMHL (Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning) with over 40 years of equine experience.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships are available upon request. While the scholarship does not cover the entire cost, it does cover $200.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Family and Friends 2 hour equine experiences available as well.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: A multitude of all year programs are offered at AET. Please refer to our website for more information.

Reading Rodeo & Riding Camp July 8-12, 9am to 2pm-$675
